This Alternator has an Active Warning Lamp. This feature is required in many Toyota Vehicles that have multiple warning lights on the dash, Fuel Filter, Air Filter etc. that rely on an output from the alternator on the warning light circuit once the Alternator is charging to turn the warning lights off as a check feature.
